Bryan Swearngin

My name is Bryan Swearngin and I have taught at Brentwood High School since 2007. I currently teach American Voices, which is the 9th-Grade U.S. History course, and Introductory Sociology. I grew up in Columbia, MO, but left for the mountains in college. I attended Colorado College as an undergraduate, did graduate studies in sociology at Colorado State University, and then received a masters in education from UMSL upon returning to Missouri.

After 11 years in this district, I am continuously proud of our many accomplishments and proud of the young citizen-scholars we raise. It is my great pleasure to teach at Brentwood High School!
