Debbie Stinson

Hello! I am Debbie Stinson. I am currently in my twelfth year as a Music teacher.  I teach all classes, K - 5 and High School Choir; fostering an environment of cooperative learning and exploration along with scaffolding music concepts appropriate to the age of the students I am teaching.  Next year (2018-2019) I will teach 6th-grade choir at Brentwood Middle School. I have taught all middle school choirs and the high school choir in my tenure with the Brentwood School District and look forward to working with the middle school again.

I hold a BA from William Woods University, a Graduate Diploma from The Saint Louis Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music from Washington University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lindenwood University. I have been a professional opera singer and currently sing with the Missouri Women's Chorus and Union Avenue Opera. I have one son who attended Mark Twain, BMS, and BHS, graduating in 2011. He is currently working for the University of Missouri at Columbia (MIZZOU) as the Talent/Diversity Manager for the residential life division.
